This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design and architect digital products utilizing contemporary tools, technologies, frameworks, and systems.
• Develop, implement, test, and document software solutions.
• Take ownership of applications in production and be responsible for the key performance indicators (KPIs) of digital products.
• Provide support to the Enterprise Payments organization and its associated payment solutions.
• Engage in inception and iteration planning meetings.
• Offer technical insights to product backlogs in collaboration with the product manager.
• Participate in daily standup meetings across site and product teams.
• Attend retrospectives and foster a culture of empathetic feedback.
• Work together on both high-level and low-level component and system designs.
• Collaborate on initiatives for performance enhancement and conduct technical review meetings.
• Employ paired programming and test-driven development methodologies.
• Set up and maintain continuous integration, continuous delivery, and continuous deployment pipelines and practices.
• Provide support for software products in user environments.
• Engage in knowledge sharing and contribute to the advancement of team knowledge.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in developing REST APIs using Java Spring Boot.
• Proficient in Swagger, REST-docs, OpenAPI specification, versioning, service discovery/registration, testing, and management.
• Experience in architecting, designing, implementing, and delivering large-scale distributed cloud systems and/or applications.
• Familiarity with microservices architectures.
• Knowledge of web and API security, including authentication, authorization, OAuth, OWASP, OpenID, and SAML.
• Experience in backend development design and implementation.
• Proficient in databases, SQL, caching, and Kafka messaging.
• Knowledge of Git, artifact management systems, build and packaging systems, Maven, Gradle, NPM, Artifactory, and Jenkins or similar CI tools.
• Experience working within an Agile environment or in a paired programming/engineering model.
• Familiarity with test-driven development and writing unit tests for comprehensive coverage.
• Proven ability to solve problems and analyze performance bottlenecks.
• Experience with Python is advantageous.
• Familiarity with REACT is a plus.
• Background investigation is required.
