Senior Product Engineer – iOS/Swift

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Develop dependable, quick, and secure iOS applications that empower European businesses to manage their finances confidently.

• Take full ownership of features: From initial discovery and technical design through to implementation, deployment, and iteration — create experiences that enable customers to make payments, receive funds, and maintain control over their financial activities.

• Influence technical decisions within your team: Collaborate with Product, Design, and Backend teams to define solutions while considering trade-offs (UX, performance, security, time-to-market) — rather than simply executing tasks.

• Enhance app reliability and maintainability: Refine architecture, boost performance, and improve testing strategies to ensure scalability without sacrificing stability.

• Tackle intricate mobile challenges: Engage in real-time synchronization, establish resilience patterns, and ensure seamless navigation within a large, modular codebase.

• Foster the team’s development: Set an example in code reviews and technical discussions, share best practices, and mentor colleagues to elevate team velocity and quality.

• Extensive iOS expertise: You have successfully shipped and maintained production features using Swift, and you are comfortable taking ownership of technical decisions throughout the entire process.

• Quality-focused mindset: You prioritize testing (XCTest, snapshot testing), clean coding practices, and pragmatic standards that facilitate rapid team progress.

• Solution-oriented mindset: You excel in ambiguous situations and transform complex challenges into straightforward, robust solutions.
