Senior Product Engineer – Flutter / Mobile

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of mobile features from start to finish: identify the problem, create the solution, deliver it, and ensure it functions effectively for users on actual devices.

• Develop and uphold Flutter applications for both iOS and Android, while maintaining a single codebase that is both clean and efficient.

• Collaborate with the web frontend team using shared API endpoints, comprehending how modifications in the backend impact the applications.

• Enhance and sustain the infrastructure of the white-label app to ensure that onboarding new sellers is seamless and dependable.

• Maintain the CI/CD pipeline (Codemagic) in good health and fully automate the release process to both app stores.

• Work together with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to determine what to build and the rationale behind it.

• Incorporate AI-driven functionalities into the mobile experience where they provide genuine value.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of professional experience with Flutter for both iOS and Android platforms.

• A strong grasp of Dart and the lifecycle of Flutter widgets.

• Experience in publishing applications to the App Store and Google Play.

• Familiarity with CI/CD processes for mobile applications (Codemagic, Fastlane, or similar tools).

• Proficient in working with REST APIs and coordinating with backend teams.

• An appreciation for clean code and a consistent practice of writing it.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and comfort in uncertain situations.

• Knowledge of agile software development methodologies.

• Proficient in English.

• Preferred: Experience with white-label or multi-tenant mobile architecture.

• Background in test-driven development for mobile applications.

• Experience in app performance monitoring and analytics.

• Practical experience with PostgreSQL or NoSQL on the backend side.

• Background in e-commerce or creator/SaaS platforms.

• Familiarity with prompt engineering, AI workflow tools, LLMs, or the development of AI-powered mobile features.
