Senior Product Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pakistan.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain scalable full stack applications spanning frontend, backend, and infrastructure layers.

• Collaborate with Product, Design, Commercial, and Analytics teams to identify and implement impactful new features.

• Create internal tools and operational systems that enhance efficiency and scalability throughout the organization.

• Develop and incorporate AI-driven workflows and LLM-based solutions utilizing modern generative AI tools.

• Investigate, assess, and refine the application of LLMs and AI systems within products and internal operations.

• Participate in architectural decisions, scalability enhancements, and the continuous evolution of the platform.

• Craft high-quality user experiences employing modern frontend technologies and design systems.

• Design and uphold dependable backend systems, APIs, and data structures.

• Navigate evolving technologies and assist in identifying appropriate tools and methods for various challenges.

• Engage in retrospectives, knowledge sharing, and initiatives focused on continuous improvement.

• Promote a collaborative, inclusive, and psychologically safe engineering environment.

• Contribute to the delivery of products that create significant real-world impact for end users.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of professional experience in software engineering across both frontend and backend systems.

• More than 4 years of experience in building and maintaining production-grade full stack applications.

• At least 3 years of experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React and TypeScript.

• Over 3 years of backend development experience using technologies like Ruby on Rails, Node.js, Python, or similar.

• At least 3 years of experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL.

• More than 2 years of experience with cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.

• Proven track record of operating within a venture capital-backed startup environment based in the US or UK.

• Experience in fast-paced, high-growth product organizations with shifting priorities and quick delivery cycles.

• Demonstrated experience in building and scaling complex software systems in production settings.

• Strong grasp of scalable architecture, system design, data structures, and sustainable software engineering practices.

• Practical experience with AI development tools and LLM platforms such as OpenAI, Claude, Cursor, Copilot, or similar in daily engineering tasks.

• Experience integrating APIs and third-party systems into production applications.

• Strong product mindset with the ability to balance technical decisions with customer and business outcomes.

• Experience collaborating in cross-functional product teams alongside Product Managers, Designers, and stakeholders.

• Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of projects from conception to production delivery.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Pragmatic engineering approach coupled with strong problem-solving abilities and sound technical judgment.
