Senior Product Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Finland.

📋 Description

• Spearhead the creation and enhancement of Nordhealth's Booking Portal by implementing innovative features.

• Guarantee high performance, security, and scalability while upholding exceptional code quality.

• Direct technical projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and delivering high-quality results across initiatives.

• Exhibit advanced proficiency in both frontend and backend technologies, particularly NextJS.

• Proactively mentor team members, create training resources, and disseminate technical knowledge and best practices throughout the organization.

• Propel the adoption of secure coding standards and improve automated testing frameworks to ensure the creation of robust and reliable applications.

• Lead the development of groundbreaking solutions, prototype new concepts, and align experimentation with strategic goals to enhance customer satisfaction and business results.

⛳️ Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of software development principles, best practices, and design patterns.

• Proficiency in contemporary frontend and backend frameworks, emphasizing scalable, secure, and maintainable architectures.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

• At least 5 years of professional experience in full-stack development with a proven track record in production-grade applications.

• Expertise in NextJS and modern web frameworks, with a demonstrated capability to design, scale, and maintain high-performing applications.

• Practical experience with AWS cloud services and database technologies, including PostgreSQL.

• Strong skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and relational databases.

• Outstanding problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities, and a collaborative attitude.

• Proven capability to mentor and support junior developers, promoting skill enhancement and team excellence.

• Demonstrated ownership and accountability for project outcomes, alongside the ability to lead technical initiatives independently.

• Ability to perform well under pressure and deliver results within tight deadlines.
