Senior Product Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• At Lingokids, a Senior Product Engineer is accountable for the complete lifecycle of an initiative within our product, from the initial idea to deployment and beyond.

• Our Product Engineers possess a profound understanding of both technical details and user requirements, collaborating closely with Designers, fellow Product Engineers, and other stakeholders.

• Ownership: you take charge of significant features from start to finish, including scoping, technical design, instrumentation, monitoring, deployment, and maintenance.

• You maintain proactive communication with the team, offering constructive feedback during design, code, and peer reviews, and welcome feedback in return.

• Experimentation: you design, execute, and analyze experiments, interpreting data, drawing conclusions, and suggesting ideas and direction based on your findings.

• Enhance infrastructure and processes: you collaborate with your squad to introduce innovative ideas for improving the app's infrastructure and team processes, working closely with UX and Designers to convert design concepts into functional, high-quality code.

⛳️ Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in software engineering focused on mobile app products, with familiarity in in-app purchase systems such as the App Store, Google Play, or Amazon Appstore being advantageous.

• Expertise in TypeScript and React Native, along with a strong understanding of App–API communication.

• Desirable but not mandatory: Experience with Ruby on Rails or other backend frameworks.

• Clear communication: you articulate with precision and effectiveness, clearly conveying the business impact of your work.

• A team player: you work collaboratively with peers and stakeholders to refine requirements and deliver effective solutions.

• Ownership: you have a strong commitment to the product, hold yourself accountable, and ensure that your work is aligned and executed with care.

• Proficiency in English is essential: As we are a multicultural team providing services in English, fluency is crucial for success, especially in asynchronous and long-form communication.
