Senior Product Engineer – Angular/Node.js

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of product features throughout their lifecycle, from defining problems and designing architecture to deployment, monitoring, and ongoing enhancement.

• Develop AI-driven product experiences and incorporate modern AI tools into the engineering workflow.

• Work collaboratively across various functions including product, design, engineering, and business stakeholders to deliver meaningful solutions.

• Contribute to all layers of the stack, encompassing frontend, backend, APIs, integrations, and cloud services.

• Represent the organization in both technical and commercial conversations with clients, partners, and stakeholders.

• Facilitate technical discovery sessions, design solutions, and engage in architecture discussions.

• Mentor and enhance the skills of engineering teams regarding AI-assisted development practices and contemporary engineering workflows.

• Enhance applications for performance, scalability, maintainability, and user experience.

• Produce clean, maintainable, well-tested, and thoroughly documented code.

• Keep abreast of emerging technologies, AI trends, and current software engineering methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in software engineering, with significant expertise in Angular, Node.js, and TypeScript.

• Proven track record in building and scaling modern web applications across the entire stack.

• Strong comprehension of software architecture, distributed systems, APIs, and scalable application design.

• Practical experience with AI tools and AI-assisted development workflows as integral components of the engineering process.

• Demonstrated product ownership mentality, with a history of leading features or products from initial discovery to production and beyond.

• Capacity to think from first principles, challenge assumptions, and address complex business and technical challenges.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of representing technical solutions in client-facing and commercial conversations.

• Proven experience in mentoring engineers and spearheading AI upskilling initiatives within development teams.

• Strong understanding of contemporary frontend development practices, component architecture, and responsive design principles.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and modern DevOps methodologies.

• Advanced proficiency in English communication, both written and verbal.
