Senior Product Engineer, AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of product features from initial problem identification and architecture through to deployment, monitoring, and ongoing enhancement.

• Create AI-powered product experiences and seamlessly incorporate cutting-edge AI tools into the engineering process.

• Work collaboratively across various departments, including product, design, engineering, and business, to deliver impactful solutions.

• Engage in all aspects of development, including frontend, backend, APIs, integrations, and cloud services.

• Act as a representative of the company in both technical and commercial discussions with clients, partners, and stakeholders.

• Lead technical discovery sessions, solution design, and architectural discussions.

• Guide and enhance the skills of engineering teams in AI-assisted development methodologies and contemporary engineering workflows.

• Improve applications for optimal performance, scalability, maintainability, and user satisfaction.

• Produce clean, maintainable, thoroughly tested, and well-documented code.

• Keep abreast of the latest technologies, AI developments, and state-of-the-art software engineering practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in software engineering, with substantial expertise in React, Next.js, Typescript, Node, or Python.

• Demonstrated ability in building and scaling modern web applications across the entire stack.

• Strong grasp of software architecture, distributed systems, APIs, and scalable application design principles.

• Practical experience utilizing AI tools and AI-assisted development workflows as integral parts of the engineering process.

• A mindset focused on product ownership, with experience guiding features or products from discovery through to production and beyond.

• Capability to think from first principles, question assumptions, and tackle complex business and technical challenges.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating technical solutions in client-facing and commercial contexts.

• Proven track record of mentoring engineers and promoting AI upskilling initiatives within development teams.

• Strong understanding of contemporary frontend development practices, component architecture, and responsive design principles.

• Familiarity with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and modern DevOps practices.

• Advanced proficiency in English communication, both written and spoken.
