This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Take ownership of product challenges from initial exploration through to delivery and iteration, with a clear accountability for results.
• Clearly articulate problems, set objectives, and make design choices with well-defined reasoning and trade-offs.
• Create exceptional interaction and visual experiences that emphasize strong hierarchy, clarity, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Maintain coherence across the product by adeptly balancing detail and direction—knowing when to focus closely and when to step back.
• Proactively enhance the quality and consistency of our visual design, interaction patterns, and overall design language.
• Contribute to the development and evolution of our Design System, ensuring new work strengthens the overall product.
• Work closely with Product Managers and Engineers, openly challenging ideas and collaborating as a unified team.
• Support experiments such as A/B testing and leverage both qualitative and quantitative insights to learn and iterate.
• Utilize tools like Lovable, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar platforms to efficiently prototype and explore new ideas.
• Ensure the design intent is effectively translated into the final product, taking responsibility for the complete user experience, beyond just the concept.
• A robust portfolio that demonstrates thoughtful product design and experiences that are intentional, useful, and visually assured.
• Strong product thinking combined with a user-centered approach.
• High standards for craftsmanship, including visual clarity, interaction quality, consistency, and polish.
• A builder mindset: actively employing the latest AI tools to prototype, automate, and realize ideas.
• Sound design judgment, with the capability to explain decisions, articulate trade-offs, and apply design expertise where it adds genuine value.
• The ability to focus on details while retaining a comprehensive perspective on the overall product experience.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional product teams.
• Willingness to learn from released outcomes and utilize both qualitative and quantitative insights for iteration.
