This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
β’ Take complete ownership of product outcomes from the initial problem framing and research stages through to shipping, measurement, and iterative improvements.
β’ Design intricate features: Create sophisticated product functionalities with a strong emphasis on visual appeal and strategic product insight.
β’ Elevate design quality: Maintain high standards in visual and interaction design, enhancing it through constructive critique and collaboration with colleagues.
β’ Oversee the development process: Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure quality throughout the development phase and manage go-to-market preparations.
β’ Develop reusable design patterns: Play a key role in Kittl's evolving design methodology by designing systems and innovative AI patterns.
β’ Experience: At least 6 years of experience in designing digital products, including a minimum of 2 years focused on launching consumer or prosumer products at scale.
β’ Portfolio: A robust portfolio that demonstrates end-to-end ownership, encompassing research, interaction design, visual craftsmanship, product strategy, and the measurable impact of delivered work.
β’ Readiness for product ownership: Proven ability or evident readiness to assume product management duties, including managing timelines and coordinating with stakeholders.
β’ Experience in AI design: Practical experience in designing for AI-driven or generative product interfaces, prioritizing the integration of AI to deliver genuine user value.
β’ Decision-making grounded in principles: Ability to balance user needs, product limitations, and strategic goals to identify the most feasible solutions through thoughtful compromise and decisive action.
β’ Proactive approach: A high standard of quality coupled with a sense of urgency, comfort with uncertainty, and willingness to extend beyond traditional design roles into product ownership and execution.
