Senior Product Designer – Design Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Croatia.

📋 Description

• Continue advancing our design system: Lead the strategy, roadmap, and ongoing development for our design framework.

• Build connections between Design and Engineering: Create and implement new collaborative workflows to enhance synergy between our design and front-end teams.

• Develop and document: Design, create, and maintain a thorough library of reusable components, patterns, and guidelines.

• Promote adoption and consistency: Act as the main advocate for the new design system, offering training and support to integrate it throughout the organization.

• Contribute to and take ownership of product features: Engage actively in the complete product development lifecycle, utilizing skills in user research, wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity design to deliver new features.

• Drive innovation and influence: Lead and innovate by integrating AI into our design practices through research and piloting new tools and methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience: At least 6+ years in product design, with a proven history of creating and scaling design systems from inception.

• A strong portfolio: A portfolio that highlights your expertise in both design systems and product design, showcasing a profound understanding of user-centered design principles and systems thinking.

• Passion for emerging technology: A genuine interest and enthusiasm for implementing AI in the design process.

• Technical acumen: A solid understanding of front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React) and a successful track record of collaborating with engineers.

• Visionary leadership: The capability to articulate a clear vision for new initiatives, influence stakeholders, and guide teams through transitions.

• Exceptional communication: The ability to effectively communicate complex design concepts and advocate for the long-term strategic value of investing in a design system and AI.
