This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take charge of intricate, high-impact product experiences across cash management, financial wellness, transaction-related tools, and various other product domains.
• Drive the complete design process from initial exploration to launch and subsequent iterations.
• Convert complex financial concepts and workflows into straightforward, user-friendly customer experiences.
• Maintain a high standard for interaction design, visual aesthetics, and overall product excellence.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to identify problems, explore options, and make informed trade-offs.
• Champion customer needs and design quality during cross-functional discussions.
• Leverage research, data, business insights, and design judgment to inform decision-making.
• Influence evolving product areas and contribute to overarching UI patterns and systems.
• Clearly present work and foster alignment among stakeholders.
• Enhance design culture through constructive critique, collaboration, and mentorship.
• Thoughtfully apply AI-enabled tools to enhance the design process.
• Cultivate understanding of customers, products, and business dynamics in the initial months.
• Position design as a core element of product development.
• Take ownership of the design domain and continuously enhance customer experience.
• Extensive experience in designing and delivering complex digital products, preferably in fintech, financial services, commerce, transportation, or other multi-stakeholder settings.
• A portfolio that showcases strong UX thought processes and refined visual and UI execution.
• Proven experience in navigating ambiguous product spaces and progressing work without a clearly defined path.
• Solid fundamentals in interaction design and exceptional attention to detail.
• Capability to advocate for design while remaining open, collaborative, and practical.
• Experience working closely with product management and engineering throughout the development phase.
• Excellent communication and storytelling abilities, including articulating decisions and engaging partners effectively.
• Strong judgment regarding when to challenge assumptions, seek additional context, or make decisions.
• Practical experience with AI tools and a knowledgeable perspective on their application in product design.
• Nice to have: experience designing consumer financial products such as cash management, banking, budgeting, payments, or financial wellness tools.
• Nice to have: experience in contributing to or evolving a design system.
