Senior Product Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of a product domain from start to finish, guiding it from a defined PRD to its release.

• Make informed design choices, present them during design reviews, and collaborate with engineering to transform concepts into tangible builds.

• Address the challenging aspects of safety-critical, insurer-facing projects, including edge cases, missing data, and documentation that must withstand scrutiny from carriers.

• Develop within our design system and contribute to its enhancement. Utilize the system, address any shortcomings, and ensure AI-generated outputs remain reusable rather than disposable.

• Work closely with our engineering team, communicating effectively to make sound trade-offs collectively.

⛳️ Requirements

• A senior product designer with a portfolio showcasing shipped, intricate B2B projects and at least 5 years of experience.

• Excellent UI/UX abilities and visual craftsmanship demonstrated through clear, build-ready specifications at the handoff stage.

• Proficient in Figma, with a strong understanding of design systems and tokens. You create within a system, enhance it, and comprehend its scalability, even if you don’t initially own it.

• Proven examples of incorporating AI into your design process, along with a commitment to staying updated with the technology.

• Bonus points for experience in automotive, collision repair, insurance, ADAS, or other complex domains.

• A breadth of branding and visual identity skills that can support our platform's evolution.

• Front-end fluency and a solid understanding of how designs are implemented, enabling close collaboration with engineering and a gradual shift towards code.
