Senior Product Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineering teams to navigate uncertainties and develop effective solutions. Take initiative and assist in defining necessary actions.

• Lead the process of identifying problems rather than merely executing the design of solutions.

• Engage in ongoing, agile discovery methods, conduct rapid experiments, create prototypes, and validate design choices prior to implementation.

• Regularly communicate with users through low-effort, AI-assisted research activities, concentrating on achievable tasks given the available resources and time.

• Design AI-native experiences that foster trust while considering AI hallucinations, latency issues, and model limitations.

• Adopt a system-first mentality to ensure that the product ecosystem appears coherent and consistent.

• Strike a balance between speed and quality by launching imperfect MVPs incrementally, continuously enhancing them based on user feedback while adhering to the long-term vision of the product.

• Manage multiple tasks simultaneously, effectively prioritize activities, and ensure that deadlines and quality standards are achieved.

• Provide constructive feedback, enhance design patterns, and contribute to the overall scalability of the product experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in startup environments with the ability to adapt and discard rigid processes.

• Proven experience in designing AI-powered or complex systems, showcasing a systems-thinking approach rather than focusing solely on isolated features.

• Clear communication skills with proficiency in articulating trade-offs, constraints, and the rationale behind design decisions.

• Ability to pinpoint key assumptions in a product concept and swiftly validate them through experiments, prototypes, or user insights.

• Experience in defining success metrics and utilizing actual product data to inform design iterations.

• Practical experience with user research methodologies, analytics, usability testing, user interviews, or other relevant UX research techniques.

• Ability to lead the design process autonomously while remaining a highly collaborative team player.

• Focus on addressing user challenges as well as achieving organizational outcomes, rather than solely delivering UI components.

• Basic understanding of technical concepts and familiarity with contemporary web technologies.

• Strong curiosity about AI and how UX can enhance the comprehensibility and trustworthiness of these systems.
