Senior Product Designer

📋 Description

• **Your Role Responsibilities**

• - Taking full ownership of UI and UX from start to finish across web, desktop, and mobile applications, guiding projects from concept to final product

• - Developing and sustaining a top-tier Figma design system featuring reusable components and uniform patterns

• - Crafting intuitive onboarding experiences that effectively convert and retain users from a diverse public sector demographic

• - Transforming complex financial data into clear, meaningful, and actionable insights through insightful data visualization

• - Leading the UX efforts for Max, our AI-driven financial coaching tool, influencing how users engage with conversational finance

• - Conducting accessibility assessments in accordance with WCAG 2.2 AA standards, ensuring the product is accessible to all

• - Engaging in daily collaboration with product, engineering, and marketing teams, participating in sprint ceremonies and delivery planning

• - Leveraging AI tools and automation to expedite prototyping, ideation, and design production

• - Investigating best-in-class design patterns, performing usability tests, and integrating insights back into the product

⛳️ Requirements

• **Ideal Candidate Profile:**

• - Proven product design experience with a portfolio showcasing outstanding craftsmanship; we are particularly interested in consumer fintech, simplified data presentation, and high-conversion customer flows

• - Advanced skills in Figma, including components, variables, auto layout, and a true appreciation for a scalable design system

• - Solid understanding of contemporary design principles, including motion graphics, accessibility, responsive design, and interaction design

• - Experience in maintaining consistency across mobile, web, and desktop platforms

• - Comfortable working with data-intensive interfaces where clarity is the foremost design challenge

• - Proven experience in using AI design tools to enhance speed and smart prototyping

• - Analytical mindset: you base decisions on data, testing, and user feedback rather than assumptions

• - High-ownership attitude: you identify tasks that need to be completed without prompting and take action

• **Additional Preferred Qualifications:**

• - Experience in a B2C fintech, financial wellbeing, or employee benefits sector

• - Familiarity with public sector audiences, such as NHS or local government entities

• - Experience in designing AI-driven or conversational product interfaces

• - Background as a sole or lead designer in a growing business
