This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Identify and define the right challenges.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Operations, Customer Success, and Sales to clarify customer issues, business objectives, user workflows, technical limitations, and success metrics prior to developing solutions.
• Transform complex workflows into reliable product experiences.
• Design comprehensive workflows for healthcare operations, encompassing intake, routing, task management, provider actions, administrative reviews, exception handling, and decision support.
• Develop automation and AI that are user-friendly.
• Create experiences that enable users to understand system actions, the reasons behind them, what requires review, and the next steps to take.
• Ensure quality throughout the production process.
• Maintain close collaboration with Engineering during the build and QA phases to guarantee that the delivered product aligns with the intended experience across various states, edge cases, permissions, errors, and interaction nuances.
• Generate reusable product patterns.
• Contribute to patterns addressing common workflow requirements such as queues, task lists, status tracking, bulk actions, review flows, alerts, audit trails, and data confidence.
• Propel the team forward.
• Utilize clear artifacts, prototypes, trade-off considerations, and direct communication to align stakeholders, facilitate decision-making, and advance high-impact projects.
• 5 to 7+ years of experience in product design, preferably within B2B SaaS, workflow products, internal tools, healthcare operations, automation, or complex operational settings.
• A portfolio demonstrating strong product judgment, workflow simplification, systems thinking, and delivered results.
• Strong expertise in information architecture, interaction design, visual hierarchy, usability, and production-quality execution.
• Capability to connect design efforts to customer and business outcomes such as adoption, retention, trust, efficiency, accuracy, or diminished support burden.
• Technical curiosity and fluency, with the ability to reason through workflow logic, automation behaviors, system constraints, and implementation trade-offs in collaboration with Engineering.
