Senior Product Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Book serves as the e-commerce backbone of Journey, acting as the booking engine for luxury hotels globally.

• Play a key role in shaping the future by defining upcoming booking experiences, conversion strategies, merchandising methods, upsell opportunities, and essential workflows.

• Engage in the entire process: from discovery and research to concept development, prototyping, testing, and final user interface design.

• Work closely with product, engineering, data, and commercial teams to clarify complex challenges.

• Take charge of fundamental user journeys including search, availability, selection, checkout, upselling, and gifting options.

• Conduct both qualitative and quantitative research, such as interviews, usability studies, funnel analysis, and behavioral insights.

• Apply conversion rate optimization principles, analytics, and experimentation to achieve measurable enhancements in conversion rates and revenue.

• Develop high-quality user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and refined UI designs.

• Contribute to and enhance our design system by creating scalable, reusable components.

• Present your work with clarity, rationale, and evidence to influence perspectives across teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in product design, preferably within e-commerce, B2C, retail, or transactional platforms.

• A portfolio showcasing comprehensive UX/UI projects with demonstrable commercial results.

• Strong capabilities in UX, including user journeys, interaction design, prototyping, and information architecture.

• Exceptional UI skills with a modern, clean digital aesthetic.

• Proven track record of utilizing analytics, experimentation, conversion rate optimization, and A/B testing to inform decisions.

• Proficient in designing mobile-first experiences and responsive interfaces.

• Experienced in conducting user interviews, usability testing, and research cycles.

• A systems thinker with experience in both working within and contributing to design systems.

• Excellent communication skills that are clear, articulate, and persuasive.

• Confident in collaborating with cross-functional teams including product and engineering.

• Able to maintain composure under pressure, organized, and capable of balancing detail with efficiency.

• Inquisitive, evidence-driven, and willing to challenge assumptions.

• Demonstrates responsibility, taking ownership of projects and exceeding expectations.
