This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.
• Lead the user experience for a specific vertical or platform surface from the initial discovery phase through to a build-ready prototype, ensuring your contributions are linked to user adoption, retention, and reusable design patterns rather than unique, one-off solutions.
• Define and frame unclear experience challenges within a vertical (such as a new Authority Having Jurisdiction or a new rules domain). Determine which issues are worth addressing, and then establish the design direction and interaction standards.
• Create functional prototypes that mitigate risks for the most complex flows before engineering commits resources, and provide specifications and components that engineers can utilize with minimal revisions.
• Maintain high standards for accessibility and brand consistency at the system level. Compliance with WCAG 2.2 AA and adherence to our visual language are fundamental requirements, not aspirational goals.
• Elevate design quality: critique peers' work, mentor new hires, and assist in the interviewing process for prospective designers.
• Senior-level experience in product design: you have managed substantial surfaces end to end and can demonstrate the results achieved, not merely the visual representations.
• Proven ability to build: a history of creating usable prototypes using code or AI tools (such as HTML/Tailwind/shadcn, Lovable, v0, Cursor), along with specifications or components that engineers have successfully utilized.
• In-depth knowledge of design systems: familiarity with tokens, components, and patterns; ideally with experience in design-system-as-code.
• Component-oriented mindset and collaborative spirit: proficient in a component-driven technology stack (shadcn/Radix/Tailwind) and eager to work closely with front-end engineers, rather than merely handing off designs.
• Skilled in conducting remote user research sessions and translating user behaviors into enjoyable experiences.
• Comfortable navigating complex, dense, regulated, or enterprise B2B workflows while embracing genuine ambiguity.
• Regular practice of discovery and usability testing, prioritizing evidence over subjective opinions.
• Strong knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2 AA) alongside robust brand and visual design expertise.
• Proficiency with AI tools and a proactive approach to leveraging AI technology rather than avoiding it.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; adept at articulating problems and guiding direction in a collaborative environment.
• Engaging work that has a significant impact at the convergence of AI and critical infrastructure regulation.
• Direct interaction with customers and an influential role in shaping product development decisions.
• A small team dynamic with a substantial impact; your insights from the field directly influence the product roadmap.
• Remote-first work environment.
• Competitive salary and benefits package.
