This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to enhance the adoption of FMX’s products and develop new solutions that address genuine customer challenges.
• Create designs that align with the business objectives of a project while remaining true to user requirements.
• Co-develop AI-enhanced coded prototypes with developers to test solutions with customers.
• Leverage AI-driven design and prototyping tools to swiftly investigate workflows, UI patterns, and content variations while applying sound design judgment.
• Quickly convert rough ideas into testable artifacts.
• Work alongside concept builders during the build phase to ensure consistent UX quality across various states.
• Design natural language and automated interactions for FMX’s AI-powered tools.
• Organize and conduct rapid usability testing on concept builds.
• Contribute to and assist in refining our existing design patterns and systems.
• Mentor fellow designers and offer constructive feedback on their work.
• Engage in design critiques and present your work to customers, prospects, stakeholders, and FMX leadership.
• Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in UX and Product design.
• Assist in shaping product strategy and influence the direction of specific product areas.
• 3-7 years of experience in product or UX design, ideally in SaaS or B2B contexts.
• A strong portfolio that showcases your design process and problem-solving abilities.
• A solid grasp of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
• Experience with user research and usability testing.
• Familiarity with analytics and behavioral data to guide and validate design choices.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in teams as well as independently.
• Capability to lead projects with minimal oversight.
• A strong sense of ownership and accountability for your work.
• Demonstrated experience with AI-assisted design/prototyping workflows to expedite iteration.
• Strong collaborative skills with engineers, including working together in the same iteration loop during prototyping/building.
• Experience in planning and conducting formative usability tests on prototypes or concept builds.
