Senior Product Designer – 6-month Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Utilize Figma and AI tools to convey and validate design choices.

• Play a role in enhancing the user experience of Bounce's consumer-oriented product across both web and mobile platforms.

• Assist in maintaining and expanding Bounce's design system, ensuring uniformity across various interfaces.

• Engage in user interviews, usability assessments, and research activities.

• Analyze user interactions with existing flows to identify pain points through both quantitative and qualitative data.

• Contribute to competitive analysis and maintain curiosity about how top consumer products address similar challenges.

• Collaborate closely with product managers to grasp problem definitions, constraints, and success metrics prior to initiating design work.

• Work in partnership with engineers to understand technical limitations and ensure the feasibility of designs.

• Showcase your work during design jam sessions and articulate the rationale behind your decisions.

• Over 6 years of experience in product design.

• A portfolio that highlights UX thinking rather than just polished visuals.

• Proficient working knowledge of Figma.

• A genuine passion for user-centered design, prioritizing the end-user's experience before focusing on visual elements.

• Exceptional attention to detail; you notice when something is misaligned by even 2 pixels, and you care about it.

• A clear communicator capable of explaining design choices without relying on jargon.

• Comfortable with receiving feedback and utilizing it to enhance your work expeditiously.
