Senior Product Design Manager – 6-month Term

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Lead the design of products and user experiences across the digital platform.

• Define and enhance navigation frameworks, content structures, interaction methods, and user pathways.

• Ensure that experiences are user-friendly, effective, and scalable.

• Oversee accessibility efforts, ensuring compliance with WCAG AA standards for all experiences.

• Promote innovation and foster a culture of continuous learning.

• Directly manage and mentor UX designers.

• Regularly review UX design work to ensure quality and alignment with product objectives.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that design requirements are in sync with product strategy.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in product design.

• More than 3 years of experience leading designers for intricate digital products.

• Expertise in information architecture, interaction design, navigation systems, and user journeys.

• A robust portfolio showcasing end-to-end ownership of complex product experiences.

• Experience in managing, mentoring, or leading product designers with established standards and strong design critique.

• Proven experience in overseeing usability testing throughout the design lifecycle.

• Demonstrated success in implementing Accessibility (A11y) standards on a large scale.

• Strong skills in cross-functional partnerships and effective communication.

• Experience in leading, developing, and managing design systems.
