This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Define, monitor, and report on product performance metrics, including profitability.
• Develop and sustain comprehensive data transformation models utilizing dbt (or comparable frameworks like Dataform or SQL-based ETL tools) to create analytics-ready datasets.
• Construct and manage Power BI dashboards to assess product health and evaluate the success of product initiatives.
• Design and analyze A/B tests; in situations where A/B testing is impractical, implement causal inference techniques (e.g., Diff-in-Diff, Propensity Score Matching) to assess product effectiveness.
• Create ROI forecasts for analytics projects to prioritize deliverables based on business impact.
• Communicate insightful narratives through data, conveying technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field).
• Over 5 years of experience in a technical product analytics or data science position.
• Proficiency in using dbt (Data Build Tool) or similar analytics engineering tools, including version control systems (Git).
• Experience with A/B testing, funnel analysis, and statistical techniques (such as regression, clustering, or predictive modeling).
• Advanced skills in SQL, along with familiarity with Python or R.
