Fraud AI/Data Lead Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Lead comprehensive AI and data initiatives, encompassing strategy, implementation, and user adoption.

• Design, test, and optimize fraud and financial crime prevention and detection algorithms using various programming languages.

• Create enterprise-level AI, analytics, and data solutions.

• Provide counsel to clients on AI strategy, governance, and operational frameworks.

• Oversee and mentor cross-functional teams (C2–C3 level).

• Ensure the quality of delivery, adherence to timelines, and client satisfaction.

• Contribute to business expansion efforts, proposal development, and thought leadership initiatives.

• Remain updated on trends in AI, regulations, and emerging technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.

• As per our contractual obligations, the candidate must reside within the United States and be a U.S. Citizen.

• Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST" clearance.

• Over 7 years of experience in leadership roles related to AI, data, or analytics.

• Strong development skills in Python/R, SQL, and data modeling techniques.

• Proficient in handling various data formats (CSV/TXT, JSON, XML, Parquet, etc.).

• In-depth knowledge of AI/ML, data platforms, and cloud infrastructure.

• Practical experience in developing, testing, and validating machine learning and other AI models at scale.

• Familiarity with data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Looker, etc.).

• Strong client-facing capabilities, leadership qualities, and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience in leading teams and managing complex projects.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Experience in applying data analytics and artificial intelligence within the financial crime compliance realm and/or for fraud, waste, and abuse prevention.
