📋 Description

• **Role Overview**

• **This position primarily involves translating the studio's creative vision and strategic direction into dependable, coordinated delivery across all games currently in development.**

• You are responsible for ensuring successful delivery, production efficiency, and sustainable execution of the studio's portfolio. Collaborating closely with the Studio Head/Creative Director, you grasp the creative vision, quality expectations, and strategic priorities. You maintain team focus, alignment, and coordination while proactively identifying risks, resource gaps, and opportunities, enabling informed decisions that preserve momentum. You advocate for and uphold the creative intent throughout execution, ensuring that the final products reflect the original vision.

• You blend production leadership with project oversight and team management. Your success is evaluated based on timely game launches meeting the required quality standards, maintaining healthy and effective teams, appropriate resource allocation, visibility of delivery risks, and the studio's capability to sustain parallel game development without compromising quality or team wellbeing.

• **Key Responsibilities**

• **1 - Production Planning & Delivery Strategy**

• You are responsible for the studio's overall production strategy, ensuring that all games progress in a reliable manner with well-defined goals, timelines, milestones, and quality gates. You transform the creative vision and strategic priorities into a coordinated delivery roadmap, ensuring the creative intent of the Studio Head/Creative Director is reflected in the execution.

• You collaborate with each game team to eliminate obstacles and ensure that delivery plans remain practical and aligned. You facilitate decision-making that balances creative ambition with feasible delivery.

• **Success looks like:**

• - A clearly articulated delivery roadmap with achievable timelines and milestones

• - Teams working towards clear goals and fully aware of delivery expectations

• - Delivery plans that consider shared resources and interdependencies between games

• - Games being released on schedule while upholding an 85%+ player satisfaction quality benchmark

• - Presentation of trade-off options when conflicts arise concerning scope, cost, timeline, or quality

• - Fostering alignment between the Studio Head/Creative Director and execution teams

• **2 - Team Management & Sustainable Delivery**

• You ensure that teams are well-structured, organized, and adequately supported, working with discipline leads to keep their teams on track while ensuring clear and consistent communication. You maintain a comprehensive view of resource deployment to facilitate smooth collaboration and sustainable delivery. You work closely with teams to identify needs, resolve constraints, and adapt as priorities evolve.

• You actively encourage individual growth and development, aiding team members in building their skills over time and strengthening the overall team. You coordinate with external contractors and partners as needed to augment capacity during peak periods, ensuring delivery continuity without sacrificing team wellbeing or focus.

• **Success looks like:**

• - Clear visibility into team structure and resource allocation

• - Balanced workloads that prevent prolonged over-allocation

• - Smooth transitions for team members between games as priorities shift

• - Effective coordination of external partners (art, audio, localization, etc.)

• - Teams equipped with essential tools, software, and licenses

• - Teams that are focused, engaged, and maintaining a sustainable work pace

• - Consistent production practices that enhance efficiency across the studio

• - Promoting professional development, contributing to stronger teams over time

• **3 - Reporting, Communication & Risk Management**

• You provide the Studio Head/Creative Director and the Publisher with clear and timely updates on production status, risks that may affect delivery or quality, budget needs, and early visibility of decisions requiring studio-level, Publisher, or Skeleton Crew input.

• You facilitate communication between the Studio Head/Creative Director and each game's leadership team to ensure alignment and minimize surprises.

• **Success looks like:**

• - Concise weekly reports detailing progress, risks, and required decisions

• - Early identification and escalation of risks, accompanied by mitigation or trade-off options

• - Proactive communication regarding delays, scope and budget changes, or quality concerns

• - A culture of transparency where challenges, blockers, and failures are viewed positively

• - Studio Head/Creative Director's confidence in production data and decision-making

• **What This Role Is Not**
