This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Establishing and refining the game development pipeline to guarantee seamless and effective workflows throughout production.
• Creating and overseeing project budgets, resource distribution, and production timelines.
• Working alongside production personnel to dissect project scope while ensuring adherence to budgetary and timeline limitations.
• Strategically planning and delineating milestones, deliverables, and deadlines across all departments.
• Overseeing daily operations and collaborating closely with game development teams and leadership to ensure successful project delivery.
• Organizing and guiding production meetings, schedule planning, and status updates.
• Monitoring project health, pinpointing production risks, and proactively implementing solutions to maintain developmental progress.
• Managing personnel, including conflict resolution and fostering a productive team atmosphere.
• Partnering with leadership and HR to assess staffing requirements and aiding in recruitment and onboarding efforts.
• 4+ years of experience in game development or a comparable role.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent skills in production strategy and decision-making.
• Experience in budget oversight and scope management.
• Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Exceptional organizational and management capabilities.
• Strong proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira).
• Solid understanding of game development pipelines and interdisciplinary workflows across engineering, design, art, and QA.
• Expertise in optimizing team structures and recognizing essential roles.
• Nice to have: Experience launching games on PC, console, or mobile platforms.
• Nice to have: Background in recruitment and staff development.
• Nice to have: Familiarity with game development methodologies.
• Nice to have: Strong creative instincts and insight into the game development process.
