Senior Producer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Oversee projects or manage complex, cross-discipline feature teams.

• Create and maintain team and product roadmaps, assessing capacity daily and proactively identifying and mitigating risks.

• Collaborate with Product Owners and Stakeholders to set feature goals and ensure timely delivery of features.

• Manage resource needs, establish dependencies, and balance competing priorities.

• Work alongside technical and creative leadership teams to guarantee that project vision, deliverables, and objectives are achieved.

• Assess development processes for effectiveness and adapt as the team and product evolve.

• Build and manage relationships and processes with key stakeholders, publishers, and external partners.

• Mentor, coach, and provide support to producers and other team members.

• Manage direct reports while fostering their career development.

• Maintain regular communication with other feature teams and coordinate dependencies with stakeholders.

• Advocate for efficient production processes, identify opportunities for improvement to enhance quality and efficiency, and contribute to the evolution of production practices across the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in a producer/project manager role across full-cycle projects.

• Proven ability to guide a game’s production through various development stages.

• Skilled in preparing mitigation and contingency plans before issues arise within a team or project.

• Strategic thinker with extensive knowledge of diverse project management methodologies, knowing when to apply each for optimal results.

• Experience working effectively with external and publisher stakeholders.

• Proven track record of managing both short-term and long-term scope and capacity.

• A deep passion and enthusiasm for games and game development.

• Familiarity with various project management methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile.

• Strong communication skills across all levels and disciplines.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative team environment.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
