This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Establish the product strategy and oversee the roadmap for a new platform that integrates AI, containers, and enhances the developer experience.
• Articulate the vision, roadmap, and success metrics for Docker’s AI & Agent Platform.
• You will develop the product from inception — drafting initial specifications, collaborating with engineering on prototypes, validating concepts with customers, and iterating swiftly based on insights gained.
• Compose requirements, collaborate with engineering to assess and prioritize tasks, deliver iteratively, and evaluate results.
• Define the integration of components within the agentic ecosystem.
• Ensure the platform caters to the diverse needs of individuals requiring agents for success.
• Establish the developer experience.
• Collaborate across functions to guarantee cohesive product experiences and alignment on go-to-market strategies.
• Influence the technical trajectory.
• Engage directly with developers, enterprises, and partners.
• Over 10 years of product management experience, with a minimum of 5 years focused on developer tools, infrastructure, or platform products.
• Proficient in reading architecture diagrams, understanding container and VM runtimes, and possessing a solid knowledge of AI agents, LLMs, and protocol-level tool connectivity.
• Demonstrated success in shipping 0-to-1 products.
• Capable of setting a multi-year vision while also detailing the specifications for what will be delivered in the next sprint.
• Deeply invested in the developer experience — from API design to CLI usability and error messaging.
• You prototype, design architectures, and test initial ideas with customers before finalizing specifications.
• You excel in ambiguous situations where solutions are not immediately clear and require investigation.
• Able to produce a concise product brief, present to executives, and discuss technical trade-offs with engineers — all in a single day.
• Experience in scaling and monetizing products.
• Background in developing products within the containers, cloud-native, or DevOps domains.
• Familiarity with AI/ML developer tools or the agentic AI ecosystem.
