Senior Principal Consultant, IAM Strategy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead strategic identity security initiatives concentrating on Privileged Access Management (PAM), Identity-as-a-Service (IDaaS), and Non-Human Identity Management (NHIM).

• Provide expert advice to enterprise clients in creating scalable, cloud-first identity strategies that align with business transformation and cybersecurity goals.

• Perform maturity assessments, current-state evaluations, and develop future-state roadmaps for identity security programs.

• Establish IAM operating models, governance frameworks, and identity security architecture standards.

• Offer strategic support to internal GuidePoint operations teams to transition new offerings from concept to production.

• Counsel organizations on enterprise PAM strategy, architecture, and modernization efforts.

• Aid in developing privileged access governance models, privileged session management strategies, vault modernization, and just-in-time access methods.

• Manage cloud identity transformation projects utilizing modern IDaaS platforms.

• Assist organizations in formulating governance and security strategies for machine identities, workloads, API keys, service accounts, certificates, bots, AI agents, and automation platforms.

• Act as a trusted advisor to CISOs, CIOs, IAM leaders, and executive stakeholders.

• Contribute to the enhancement of GuidePoint’s IAM strategy offerings, methodologies, templates, and service accelerators.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in IAM, cybersecurity consulting, or enterprise security architecture.

• Extensive knowledge in PAM, cloud identity, and enterprise IAM strategy.

• Strong grasp of modern IDaaS platforms and hybrid identity architectures.

• Familiarity with emerging identity security concepts, including NHIM, ITDR, secrets management, and AI security.

• Demonstrated experience leading enterprise IAM transformation projects and strategic advisory engagements.

• Excellent executive communication and presentation skills.

• Capacity to engage both technical and business stakeholders within large enterprise environments.

• Experience in consulting, advisory, or professional services settings is highly preferred.
