• Enhancing margin governance through systematic price–cost–margin analysis across various tests, services, and study types.
• Improving pricing procedures by creating scalable frameworks, catalogues, and documentation that minimize reliance on key individuals.
• Fostering continuous improvement by identifying margin losses, outdated pricing strategies, and structural inefficiencies.
• Establishing best practices in pricing analytics and profitability management across Cerba's global service offerings.
• Overseeing and consistently refining price–cost–margin analyses for different tests, services, and study types.
• Developing and sustaining cost models that accurately reflect laboratory operations, partner laboratories, and service delivery models.
• Assisting with pricing for new agreements, renewals, and change orders, which includes deal economics and sensitivity assessments.
• Managing the maintenance of the pricing catalogue across regions, services, and delivery models, including inflation recovery and periodic repricing activities.
• Monitoring and analyzing discounts, while preparing recommendations that align with governance policies.
• Creating and maintaining pricing and margin KPIs, dashboards, and recurring reports for the Pricing, Finance, and Commercial teams.
• Supporting the implementation of SAP, O2C, and pricing tools, ensuring accurate capture of pricing logic.
• Serving as the institutional knowledge holder for pricing, preserving models, documentation, and assumptions over time.
• Demonstrated experience in price–cost–margin analysis and financial modeling within complex, cost-intensive service settings.
• Proficient in Excel; familiarity with SAP or O2C processes is a plus.
• Capability to distill intricate analyses into clear insights for senior or ELT-level stakeholders.
• Assertive and straightforward, capable of posing challenging questions, questioning assumptions, and making recommendations in ambiguous situations.
• Experience in CRO, laboratory, or sample-testing environments is beneficial but not mandatory; transferable experience from logistics or similar cost-intensive service sectors is welcomed.
• Fluent in English.
