Pricing Analyst III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Create and improve pricing analytics using SAS, Python, Excel, and Tableau.

• Share insights with the Senior Leadership Team to guide pricing strategies.

• Design customized MI rate card pricing based on competitive analysis and return thresholds.

• Conduct ad hoc analyses related to mortgage insurance pricing and CRT portfolio assessments.

• Gather and sustain MI pricing intelligence through the development of databases.

• Support research and implementation of market data to enhance pricing and financial projections.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Experience.

• A minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience.

• Analytical expertise in mortgage banking, reinsurance, or the financial services sector is preferred.

• Advanced proficiency in Python, SAS, SQL, Snowflake, and AWS.

• Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.

• Strong grasp of pricing, valuation, and ROC concepts and methodologies.

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks within deadlines.

• Experience in handling large datasets.

• Keen attention to detail and effective time-management abilities.

• Strong analytical skills with the capacity to extract insights from financial data.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

• Capable of working both independently and collaboratively with others.

• Open to challenging conventional methods and creating innovative solutions.
