This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Oversee a portfolio of customer accounts that are hosted.
• Take ownership of the complete pricing support for bidding opportunities, from the initial intake stage to the final submission.
• Formulate deal strategies that balance customer needs, competitive positioning, and internal margin goals.
• Evaluate pricing opportunities and assist with initiatives that enhance business performance and pricing results.
• Communicate portfolio insights and recommendations to colleagues and Revenue Management leadership.
• Facilitate training and onboarding processes for new team members.
• Lead or play a significant role in special pricing projects and strategic business initiatives.
• Recognize pricing challenges, opportunities, and process enhancements through analytical and critical thinking.
• Collaborate with market and sales leaders to deploy pricing tools, strategies, and best practices.
• Work across departments to promote consistency, knowledge sharing, and operational excellence.
• Provide data-driven insights to Revenue Management, Sales, and internal stakeholders to influence business choices and support revenue growth.
• A minimum of 3 years in pricing, financial analysis, business analysis, revenue management, or a similar analytical role.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication capabilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools, including MS Access or equivalent platforms.
• Highly organized, attentive to detail, and adept at managing multiple priorities effectively.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities.
• Capacity to make independent judgments within established pricing policies and guidelines.
• Excellent skills in collaboration and relationship building across various teams and business functions.
• Strong organizational, planning, and project management skills.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Advanced problem-solving skills and a mindset geared toward continuous improvement.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Business Management, Finance, Economics, a related field, or equivalent professional experience (preferred).
• Experience within a B2B environment as a supplier or distributor (preferred).
• Familiarity with vendor deviations, rebates, or related pricing programs (preferred).
• Experience with Vendavo, PROS, Zilliant, or similar pricing software (preferred).
• Proficient in Tableau, Alteryx, Power BI, or SQL (preferred).
• Experience interpreting Customer Legal Agreements/Terms (preferred).
• Project management experience (preferred).
• Familiarity with Salesforce (preferred).
• Industry experience in office products, facility supplies, breakroom supplies, pack and ship products, or other distribution-related environments (preferred).
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills (preferred).
