Senior Pricing Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida, +11 more states.

📋 Description

• Strengthening margin governance through methodical price–cost–margin analysis across various tests, services, and study types.

• Improving pricing processes by developing scalable frameworks, catalogs, and documentation to minimize reliance on key individuals.

• Promoting continuous improvement by pinpointing margin leakage, outdated pricing strategies, and structural inefficiencies.

• Establishing best practices in pricing analytics and profitability management throughout Cerba's global service offerings.

• Taking ownership of and enhancing price–cost–margin analyses across tests, services, and study types.

• Creating and sustaining cost models that accurately represent laboratory operations, partner laboratories, and service delivery frameworks.

• Assisting in the pricing of new contracts, renewals, and change orders, including deal economics and sensitivity evaluations.

• Monitoring and analyzing discounts while preparing recommendations that align with governance policies.

• Developing and maintaining pricing and margin KPIs, dashboards, and regular reports for Pricing, Finance, and Commercial teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in price–cost–margin analysis and financial modeling within intricate, cost-intensive service settings.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel; familiarity with SAP or O2C processes is a plus.

• Capability to distill complex analyses into concise insights for senior or Executive Leadership Team (ELT) stakeholders.

• Confident and assertive, able to pose challenging questions, question assumptions, and offer recommendations amid uncertainty.

• Background in Contract Research Organizations (CRO), laboratory, or sample-testing environments is beneficial but not mandatory; experience from logistics or similar cost-heavy service sectors is also valued.

• Proficient in English.
