This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Serve as the representative for Gilead's HIV Prevention products and services to a specified customer base.
• Drive sales growth by meeting or surpassing sales targets within the Tennessee territory.
• Establish connections with healthcare providers through direct representation, face-to-face meetings, and strategic alliances.
• Provide information on disease awareness, clinical updates, and education regarding changes in healthcare.
• Create and implement a business plan for the territory that aligns with customer needs and sales objectives.
• Track sales performance and modify strategies to achieve or exceed targets.
• Maintain a deep understanding of Gilead products, competitors, and the disease state within the therapeutic area.
• Advocate for the appropriate use of Gilead products in compliance with Corporate, PhRMA, and OIG guidelines.
• Collaborate with field reimbursement managers, medical scientists, and other team members to enhance customer access and product operations.
• Work alongside healthcare organizations and partner companies, including co-promotion initiatives.
• Adhere to compliance, ethical, regulatory, state, federal, and company policies.
• Report any adverse events promptly to Gilead's Drug Safety and Public Health department.
• Handle administrative responsibilities such as documenting call activities, updating customer information, submitting expenses, and managing the territory budget.
• Stay informed on technical and scientific product information, industry trends, and changes in the therapeutic area.
• Operate independently to surpass personal goals and performance benchmarks.
• Contribute to Gilead's Inclusion & Diversity initiatives.
• High school diploma with eleven years of experience, OR an associate degree with nine years of experience, OR a bachelor's degree with seven years of experience, OR a master's degree with five years of experience.
• Willingness to travel regularly within the designated area.
• Capability to fulfill healthcare practitioner onsite visitation requirements, which may include vaccinations, drug screenings, and background checks.
• Proven ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Preferably a minimum of seven years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industry sales.
• Exceptional selling skills in highly competitive markets are preferred.
• A demonstrated history of meeting or exceeding sales goals is preferred.
• Experience in specialty markets is preferred.
• Familiarity with selling injectable physician-administered products is preferred.
• Understanding of the managed care landscape is preferred.
• Experience with a Buy and Bill product and a record of proven sales success is preferred.
• Experience managing a portfolio of multiple products.
• Strong knowledge of HIV prevention, disease states, treatment protocols, and the competitive landscape.
• Advanced communication and presentation skills for conveying complex clinical information.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional matrix environment.
• Cultural sensitivity and comfort in engaging in sexual health discussions.
• Capacity to build and sustain internal and external partnerships.
• Ability to work autonomously and take initiative.
