This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Serve as the representative for Gilead's HIV Prevention products and services to a designated customer base.
• Drive sales growth by meeting or surpassing sales targets within the Tennessee region.
• Engage with healthcare practices through direct representation, face-to-face interactions, and strategic collaborations.
• Develop and nurture relationships with healthcare providers.
• Provide disease awareness information, clinical updates, and insights regarding changes in healthcare.
• Simplify complex clinical concepts into understandable messages for varied audiences.
• Create and implement a territory business plan that aligns with customer needs and sales objectives.
• Track sales progress and modify strategies to achieve or exceed targets.
• Advocate for the appropriate use of Gilead products in line with compliance guidelines.
• Work collaboratively with field reimbursement managers, medical scientists, and other team members to facilitate product access, acquisition, administration, and operations.
• Partner with healthcare organizations and co-promotion companies.
• Adhere to compliance, regulatory, ethical, and company policies.
• Report adverse events to Gilead's Drug Safety and Public Health department.
• Drive sales results through effective customer engagement and relationship management.
• Conduct administrative tasks, including reporting call activities and customer details, submitting expenses, and overseeing the territory budget.
• Stay informed about product and therapeutic-area knowledge and monitor industry trends.
• Operate independently to surpass performance standards.
• Contribute to Gilead's Inclusion & Diversity initiatives.
• High school diploma with eleven years of experience, or an associate degree with nine years of experience, or a bachelor's degree with seven years of experience, or a master's degree with five years of experience.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
• Ability to meet any healthcare practitioner onsite visitation requirements.
• A valid driver's license is mandatory.
• At least seven years of preferred experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or healthcare industry sales.
• Exceptional selling skills in highly competitive environments.
• Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales goals.
• Experience working with account-focused cross-functional teams.
• Previous experience selling injectable physician-administered products is preferred.
• Familiarity with the managed care landscape is advantageous.
• Proven success in selling a Buy and Bill product.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Strong knowledge of therapeutic areas, disease states, treatment protocols, and competitive landscapes.
• Cultural sensitivity, empathy, and awareness when engaging with diverse customers.
• Comfortable discussing topics related to sexual health.
• Ability to lead and collaborate in a cross-functional matrix environment.
• Skilled in building and maintaining both internal and external partnerships.
