This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Delivering an outstanding customer service experience daily in a phone-based setting.
• Entering a significant volume of data; processing prescription information with efficiency and precision.
• Applying comprehensive drug knowledge to effectively obtain prescription authorizations, clarifications, or transfers.
• Conducting claim adjudication and auditing tasks, including prior authorizations, billing, and eligibility checks.
• Making outbound calls to patients.
• Navigating current case queues to resolve patient care issues.
• Acting as a liaison between clinical pharmacists and other medical professionals on behalf of patients.
• Collaborating with technicians and pharmacists to ensure successful onboarding of new patients.
• Maintaining patient records with meticulous attention to detail and confidentiality.
• Accurately retrieving all prescription information and verifying through calls to doctors.
• Making welcome calls to newly onboarded patients to establish a trustworthy point of contact.
• Placing outbound calls to patients to create, maintain, or update their medication profiles.
• Providing backup support during periods of increased patient call volume.
• Effectively addressing patient inquiries over the phone.
• Performing in a high-volume, fast-paced environment to support ExactCare’s nationwide patient base.
• Upholding AnewHealth’s Core Values in all communications and interactions.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Pharmacy technician registration with the State Board of Pharmacy is preferred.
• CPhT certification is preferred, but not mandatory.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Previous experience in a pharmacy setting, with expertise in department workflows.
• Comfortable working in a phone-based environment.
• Ability to work independently.
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented.
• Capability to utilize computer equipment and navigate multiple software programs.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Comprehensive drug knowledge.
• Familiarity with pharmacy billing processes.
• Strong prioritization and organizational abilities.
• Capacity to think critically and document relevant details in a compliant manner with state and federal regulations.
