Senior Power Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Conduct system studies on electrical distribution, generation, and transmission networks.

• Guide other engineers on a project-by-project basis.

• Execute short circuit calculations, overcurrent coordination, load flow, and arc flash analyses.

• Engage with customers to ensure timely completion of system studies.

• Carry out simulations related to harmonics, transients, and stability.

• Develop detailed and precise customer reports that include clear conclusions and recommendations.

• Occasional travel to customer sites (5-15%).

⛳️ Requirements

• EI or EIT Certification with an intention to obtain a PE license.

• Over 6 years of experience in power systems analysis and project management is preferred.

• Background in industrial or utility distribution and transmission analysis, substation design, electrical power system protection and control, and Arc Flash analysis.

• Proficient in using engineering analysis software such as SKM, ETAP, EasyPower, EDSA, Windmil, PSPICE, or similar tools.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
