
Senior Power Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
β’ Conduct system studies on electrical distribution, generation, and transmission networks.
β’ Guide other engineers on a project-by-project basis.
β’ Execute short circuit calculations, overcurrent coordination, load flow, and arc flash analyses.
β’ Engage with customers to ensure timely completion of system studies.
β’ Carry out simulations related to harmonics, transients, and stability.
β’ Develop detailed and precise customer reports that include clear conclusions and recommendations.
β’ Occasional travel to customer sites (5-15%).
β’ EI or EIT Certification with an intention to obtain a PE license.
β’ Over 6 years of experience in power systems analysis and project management is preferred.
β’ Background in industrial or utility distribution and transmission analysis, substation design, electrical power system protection and control, and Arc Flash analysis.
β’ Proficient in using engineering analysis software such as SKM, ETAP, EasyPower, EDSA, Windmil, PSPICE, or similar tools.
