Senior Power Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Execute power system analyses, including GPS, system strength evaluations, power quality assessments, and transmission/distribution planning.

• Create and verify RMS and EMT models for inverter-based energy generation.

• Assist with registration, GPS compliance, and commissioning tasks in collaboration with governmental bodies and network service providers.

• Conduct harmonic and interaction evaluations.

• Compile technical reports and client-related documentation.

• Frequently utilize PSS®E and PSCAD/EMTDC software.

• Aid in EMT and dynamic simulation processes.

• Enhance modeling capabilities under the guidance of technical leadership.

• Engage in client meetings and technical workshops.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

• Over 5 years of experience in power system analysis.

• Familiarity with NEM grid connections and inverter-based generation.

• Proficient in PSS®E and PSCAD.

• Solid technical background with a keen interest in advancing into leadership roles.
