Lead Electrical Engineer – Batteriegroßspeicher, BESS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Overall electrical responsibility within our BESS projects

• Primary contact for all electrical matters related to the project

• Collaboration with the project manager

• Translate complex technical concepts into clear project structures

• Coordination with internal departments, external partners, planning offices, and suppliers

• Review and approve technical plans and documentation (circuit diagrams, layouts, calculations, protection concepts)

• Coordination of electrical installers, specialized trades, and plant builders

• Ensure the technical quality of implementation

⛳️ Requirements

• A technical degree, ideally in electrical engineering or energy technology

• Several years of experience (5+ years) in the implementation of electrical projects in the energy sector (e.g., BESS, renewable energies, grid connections, or infrastructure projects)

• A solid understanding of high voltage, grid connections, and battery storage systems

• Experience in the professional management and coordination of external planning offices, suppliers, or EPCs

• Ability to independently assess and approve technical documentation

• Regular presence in Munich for coordination and project work

• Fluent in German and very good English
