Senior Power BI Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Development and Visualization using Power BI

• Design, create, and launch Power BI reports and dashboards utilizing Snowflake as the main data source

• Convert business needs into impactful visual analytics (KPIs, scorecards, executive dashboards)

• Create reusable Power BI datasets, semantic models, and dataflows

• Employ best practices for UX/UI design, storytelling, and accessibility within Power BI

• Establish a BI platform in the Azure Fabric Environment

• Develop Self-Service capabilities utilizing Power BI and Copilot

• Design and enhance DAX measures, calculated columns, and KPIs

• Implement advanced modeling features: Time intelligence, Row-level security (RLS), Calculation groups (preferred)

• Enhance Power BI performance through query optimization, aggregation strategies, and model design

• Apply security best practices (RLS, object-level security, data sensitivity labels)

• Assist in Power BI Service administration, workspace management, and deployment pipelines

• Ensure compliance with enterprise data governance and standards

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in BI / analytics development

• More than 4 years of practical Power BI experience

• Extensive experience using Power BI with Databricks

• Advanced skills in: DAX SQL (optimizations specific to Snowflake are preferred)

• Strong grasp of data warehousing principles and dimensional modeling

• Familiarity with Power BI Service (apps, deployment pipelines, refresh strategies)

• Experience in Semantic model reengineering

• Experience integrating Co-Pilot with Power BI in the Azure Fabric environment (preferred)
