Senior Portfolio Manager, VWR Brand Equipment – Instruments

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Formulate and implement Avantor’s VWR portfolio strategy to increase market share.

• Establish, monitor, and report on financial and operational metrics associated with the designated VWR Brand portfolio.

• Create strategic marketing initiatives for the VWR Brand portfolio.

• Oversee the product life cycle for the product portfolio.

• Foster collaboration with the portfolio team and leadership to meet revenue and profitability targets for the portfolio.

• Develop and strengthen essential strategic supplier relationships.

• Enhance profitability for each product group within the Product category.

• Present findings to senior management concerning market trends, competition, and customer segmentation.

• Formulate the VWR Brand strategy within the specified portfolio category(ies).

• Evaluate the market for innovative technical advancements from both suppliers and competitors.

• Execute strategies for improving product mix.

⛳️ Requirements

• Intermediate experience is required.

• A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.

• At least three years of experience in strategic marketing, product management, category management, sales, or a related field is necessary.

• Safety certifications are preferred but not mandatory (ASP, CSP, or others).
