Senior Portfolio Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take on management responsibility for a $200MM multi-asset portfolio comprised of mutual funds and ETFs spanning 12 model portfolios.

• Develop and uphold strategic and tactical asset allocations that align with the objectives of each model, both including and excluding alternatives.

• Perform ongoing due diligence on fund and ETF holdings; assess replacements and new inclusions as necessary.

• Track portfolio performance, risk metrics, and market changes; make timely rebalancing decisions.

• Create comprehensive investment reports and portfolio evaluations for internal stakeholders and advisors.

• Act as the internal advocate for the model portfolios, actively promoting them to the firm's financial advisors.

• Design and present engaging presentations, commentaries, and materials that clearly convey each model's strategy, positioning, and performance.

• Establish strong working relationships with advisors to encourage adoption and address inquiries related to the portfolio.

• Contribute to the broader company strategy concerning products and services.

• Simplify complex investment concepts into understandable language tailored for advisors and clients.

• Conduct due diligence on ETFs and mutual funds, supplemented with proper documentation and publication.

• Stay informed on macroeconomic trends, capital markets, and the evolving landscape of mutual funds and ETFs.

• Identify opportunities to improve portfolio construction, fund selection processes, and model design.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in portfolio management or investment management.

• Proven expertise in mutual fund and ETF selection, due diligence, and portfolio construction.

• Familiarity with or exposure to alternative investment strategies within a model portfolio framework.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including experience in presenting to financial advisors and clients.

• Self-motivated with a proactive attitude and the ability to work autonomously.

• Strong investment judgment, high integrity, and discretion with sensitive client and firm information.
