This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Conducting modeling of regulatory and economic impacts, along with providing guidance to policy team members.
β’ Employing AI/ML and econometric models to extract insights from legislation and various data sources.
β’ Collaborating with academics and specialists on topics related to policy research.
β’ Performing mapping and spatial analysis of data.
β’ Creating compelling visualizations to effectively communicate key concepts.
β’ Transforming findings into "Data Journalism" that supports our communications team.
β’ Developing prototypes, dashboards, and other tools to enhance data utilization throughout a large organization.
β’ Possession of an advanced degree in a quantitative discipline.
β’ Over 4 years of experience in data modeling and analysis, with a focus on utilizing AI.
β’ More than 5 years of industry experience with a BS/Masters, or at least 2 years with a PhD.
β’ Capability to conduct complex strategic analyses.
β’ Strong project management, communication, and teamwork abilities.
β’ Familiarity with causal inference techniques (e.g., econometric regressions and quasi-experimental methods).
β’ Proficiency in data tools such as R/Python, SQL, Data Visualization, and GIS.
β’ Background in the policy and economics field, or related areas.

The actual base salary is influenced by various factors including training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands. The base salary range is subject to change and may be adjusted in the future. This position may also qualify for bonuses, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
