Senior Platform Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Ensuring our platform adheres to the highest industry standards and practices for security (ISO27001, C5, SOC2).

• Assisting in embedding security at every phase of our platform's lifecycle.

• Demonstrating the capability to proactively identify and mitigate security threats before they occur.

• Enhancing system scalability and cost-effectiveness.

• Developing, monitoring, and maintaining Kubernetes clusters across multiple continents.

• Overseeing CI/CD development and maintenance.

• Ensuring all services are deployed in a manner that guarantees high availability.

• Addressing urgent issues and optimizing system performance.

• Providing support to team members in their daily tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a security-related role.

• Extensive experience with container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes and expertise in securing them (a must-have).

• Proficient in maintaining and developing policies for security-focused CNI/Service Mesh (e.g., Calico, Cilium).

• Skilled in scanning for and managing vulnerabilities on a large scale.

• Experience with Hashicorp Vault.

• Knowledgeable in using Terraform and popular CI/CD tools.

• Familiar with building scalable and secure production high-availability environments using AWS.

• Well-versed in network security services such as AWS WAF/Cloudflare.

• Comfortable developing tools or scripts in Bash or GO for work automation.

• Proficient in English (both spoken and written - minimum B2 level).

• Capable of persuading others regarding security and best practices.
