Senior Platform Engineer – Secure AI DevSecOps

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Engineer, integrate, and manage AI Security and DevSecOps platforms to facilitate secure software delivery.

• Develop scalable security capabilities that enhance automation, operational efficiency, and boost developer productivity.

• Incorporate security controls into developer workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and engineering platforms.

• Create self-service capabilities, onboarding experiences, and resources to empower developers.

• Conduct platform administration, upgrades, monitoring, troubleshooting, optimization, and production support.

• Engineer and maintain AI-powered code security solutions along with emerging AI security technologies.

• Promote secure AI development practices across AI applications, agents, LLM-powered systems, and AI integrations.

• Enhance security visibility through dashboards, metrics, reporting, and operational insights.

• Assist in vulnerability remediation by improving developer workflows and automated feedback mechanisms.

• Implement SAST, SCA, secrets detection, Infrastructure-as-Code security, container security, software supply chain security, and AI-assisted code security.

• Assess emerging security technologies and guide successful proof-of-concepts towards enterprise adoption.

• Continuously enhance the reliability, scalability, and usability of security platforms.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevSecOps, Application Security, or Cybersecurity Engineering.

• Demonstrated experience in designing, implementing, and managing enterprise-scale security platforms.

• Strong knowledge of the Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC), DevSecOps practices, developer workflows, and platform engineering.

• Proficient in scripting and automation with Python, PowerShell, shell scripting, or other similar programming languages.

• Experience in integrating security solutions within CI/CD pipelines and enterprise developer platforms.

• Practical experience with GitHub Enterprise, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, or Tekton.

• Familiarity with Kubernetes and container platforms.

• Proficient in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.

• Experience with public cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP.

• Understanding of application security concepts, including SAST, SCA, secrets management, and software supply chain security.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.

• Ability to convert security requirements into scalable engineering solutions.

• Preferred: experience with AI security technologies and platforms, securing LLMs, AI Agents, RAG systems, and AI-integrated enterprise applications.

• Preferred: experience with AI governance and secure AI development practices.

• Preferred certifications include CISSP, CSSLP, GCSA, Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer, Microsoft Azure Security Engineer Associate, AWS Security Specialty, CKS, HashiCorp Terraform Associate, and GitHub Advanced Security Certification.
