Senior Platform Engineer, Mission Partner Environment

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee technical contributions to project delivery by designing and implementing solutions that resolve customer challenges and fulfill contract goals through pioneering technology deployments.

• Work in partnership with Enterprise Solutions, Delivery Services, and Capability teams to incorporate solutions into proposals and assist with customer delivery.

• Propel key outcomes as a vital individual contributor within delivery-oriented teams supporting Defense programs and IR&D initiatives.

• Utilize standard IT Operations tools, new cybersecurity capabilities, and assessment frameworks to customize Zero Trust modernization for end clients.

• Analyze customer challenges, identify technology-driven solutions, create proof-of-concept development strategies, carry out hands-on development, and determine paths for scaling.

• Design, manage, and implement data-centric mission partner networks for U.S. government clients.

• Leverage knowledge of foreign mission partner sharing and interoperability policies and technologies.

• Implement Zero Trust principles and technologies to improve Mission Partner Environment capabilities and interoperability.

• Integrate and develop emerging commercial technologies to satisfy Government security standards.

• Deploy cloud and hybrid-cloud solutions using automation, containerization, and Kubernetes technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent of 4+ years of experience in place of a degree.

• Over 10 years of relevant experience.

• U.S. Citizenship is mandatory.

• Top Secret clearance is required to begin.

• IAT Level 2 Certification is necessary.

• Proven experience in infrastructure storage provisioning and management.

• Familiarity with VDI deployment.

• Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy Objects (GPO).

• Proficient in Linux and Windows system administration.

• Experience in endpoint management.

• Continuous monitoring experience, including patching and scanning with SCAP and ACAS.

• Background in research and development as well as rapid prototyping.

• At least 5 years of experience in developing, managing, and deploying data-centric mission partner networks for U.S. government clients.

• Knowledge of current policies regarding foreign mission partner sharing and interoperability and related technologies.

• Experience in applying Zero Trust principles and technologies in Mission Partner Environments.

• Familiarity with developing and integrating emerging commercial technologies to meet Government security requirements, such as NIAP, NIST, and CSfC.

• DevSecOps experience in deploying cloud and hybrid-cloud solutions using automation, containerization, and Kubernetes technologies.

• Excellent communication, analytical, and time management skills.

• Willingness to travel 25–50% of the time / up to 50%.
