This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

• Take charge of reliability and performance across the cloud platform by establishing and driving SLOs, monitoring, and managing incident responses.

• Lead intricate Azure cloud deployments from the initial planning and design stages through to rollout and operational management.

• Develop and enhance automation and infrastructure-as-code to ensure a reliable, secure, scalable, and operational platform.

• Advocate for platform tooling and collaborate directly with other teams to encourage its adoption.

• Collaborate with the Cloud Architect and cross-functional teams to define and implement the cloud vision and roadmap.

• Provide mentorship to fellow engineers to amplify the team's impact.

• Extensive hands-on experience in observability and reliability, including SLOs, monitoring, and incident management.

• Proficient with Azure Monitor, Datadog, Prometheus, or comparable production observability stacks.

• Proven ability to manage Kubernetes, particularly AKS or similar, at significant production scale.

• Strong experience with Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code tools.

• Solid expertise in CI/CD pipelines.

• Understanding of cloud security principles, including IAM, least privilege, encryption, and compliance.

• Demonstrated success in promoting the adoption of tools across teams.

• Self-starter with a sense of ownership, technical proficiency, and the capability to see projects through to completion.
