This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Work collaboratively with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to design, develop, and maintain robust platform solutions.
• Architect, deploy, and manage Kubernetes clusters on AWS and/or Azure.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines that ensure the swift delivery of high-quality code.
• Build automated infrastructure utilizing Terraform and other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Spearhead cloud migration and modernization initiatives, including the re-platforming of legacy workloads (Java, .NET, ETL, databases) to modern cloud-native services.
• Automate the scaling, deployment, and management of containerized applications.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance to guarantee reliability, cost-efficiency, and resilience.
• Implement proactive monitoring solutions to detect and prevent outages.
• Convert complex client requirements into scalable, automated solutions.
• Participate in team knowledge-sharing, peer reviews, runbooks, and process enhancement activities.
• Support and maintain secure, compliant, and resilient infrastructure for critical systems.
• Over 5 years of experience in platform, DevOps, or infrastructure engineering.
• More than 5 years of experience with Azure.
• At least 3 years of experience with Terraform and other IaC tools.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience building and operating Kubernetes in a production environment.
• Practical experience in migrating or modernizing legacy workloads (Java, .NET, or similar) to the cloud.
• Comfort with database and data platform tasks across SQL and NoSQL technologies.
• Experience in designing and building scalable, distributed systems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar).
• Previous experience in consulting or client-facing delivery roles.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Capability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong multitasking skills, a self-starter attitude, and a proactive team player.
• Relevant cloud certifications.
• Experience in highly regulated industries (e.g., finance, healthcare).
• Professional-level certifications for AWS and Azure.
• Experience with ETL or data pipeline tools (DataStage, ADF, Glue, Airflow, or similar).
• Kubernetes certifications (CKA, CKAD, CKS).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
