Senior Platform Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• You will lead the planning and implementation of infrastructure deployments, utilizing automation tools and best practices to ensure a stable and scalable foundation for the platform that serves our million users.

• You will oversee day-to-day operations, troubleshoot issues, and optimize workflows to maintain high availability (HA) and achieve service level objectives (SLOs) for the platform.

• You will be responsible for backend features that support all our platforms (extension, mobile, and desktop).

• You will engage directly with end-users and developers utilizing Trust Wallet—providing support and gathering feedback to guide the product's direction.

• You will collaborate with the team to establish and nurture a culture of excellence with each new hire.

• You will apply AI engineering best practices to enhance developer productivity and engineering velocity—standardizing AI-assisted workflows (coding, reviews, debugging, incident response), developing and maintaining internal tools and prompts/guardrails, and assessing impact through delivery and reliability metrics.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience managing and developing with Cloud Platforms (AWS, Cloudflare).

• Proficiency in Kubernetes and related technologies (Istio, Helm Charts).

• Experience in infrastructure configuration management (Terraform, Atlantis).

• Familiarity with building CI/CD pipelines and accelerating application delivery (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD).

• Proficient with production observability technologies (Prometheus, Grafana, Sentry).

• Hands-on experience with Go lang (Networking, HTTP, gRPC, OpenTelemetry).

• Expertise in implementing SRE principles, emphasizing the maintenance of high availability.

• Knowledgeable in incident handling and on-call responsibilities.

• Experience in utilizing AI-assisted engineering tools and best practices (e.g., LLM coding assistants, AI-driven code review/testing, prompt patterns/guardrails).

• Strong security fundamentals with hands-on experience implementing cloud and Kubernetes security best practices.
