Senior Platform Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the infrastructure that facilitates enterprise-level document corpus processing.

• Develop and manage essential infrastructure for product teams.

• Oversee cloud infrastructure on Azure and orchestrate data pipelines.

• Apply CI/CD and deployment automation methodologies.

• Guarantee observability and incident response to maintain platform reliability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in building and managing production cloud infrastructure at scale.

• Extensive experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) and managing cloud platforms, with Azure being an advantage.

• Strong grasp of container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker) and contemporary deployment strategies.

• Proven track record in creating and sustaining CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and developer tools.

• Proficiency with observability systems, including monitoring, alerting, logging, and tracing.

• Solid SRE instincts: you prioritize SLOs, capacity planning, incident response, and reducing toil through automation.

• Experience in operating data infrastructure such as data pipelines, streaming systems, and distributed computing.

• Familiarity with distributed computing frameworks (Ray) or streaming technologies (Kafka, Azure Service Bus).

• Previous experience in a B2B SaaS or enterprise data platform setting where uptime and data integrity are crucial.

• Experience in a high-growth startup where you established infrastructure foundations from scratch rather than merely maintaining them.
