Senior Platform Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer, Platform Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or in a comparable position.

• Solid foundation in software engineering with a track record of building production-quality systems.

• Proficient in designing, deploying, and managing production workloads on AWS.

• Proven experience in creating and sustaining modern CI/CD pipelines.

• Capability to manage infrastructure through Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation.

• Expertise in developing developer tools, automation, or internal engineering platforms.

• Familiarity with implementing observability solutions using tools like Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, or similar technologies.

• Strong grasp of distributed systems, cloud architecture, and contemporary software delivery methods.

• Experience in defining operational metrics, SLIs, SLOs, dashboards, and alerting strategies.

• A systems-thinking approach with the ability to pinpoint bottlenecks and enhance engineering workflows.

• Exceptional collaboration and communication skills, capable of influencing engineering practices across teams.

• Proven ownership, curiosity, and a mindset geared towards continuous improvement.

• Proficient in utilizing AI development tools such as ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, or Claude to enhance productivity.

• Experience assisting high-growth SaaS platforms, Kubernetes, ECS, Docker, release automation, PostgreSQL, event-driven architectures, or logistics and supply chain software is advantageous.
